Our Mission
Karolina's Academy is an English-speaking kindergarten and daycare for children aged 15 months to 7 years – a unique place created with love for children and with their comprehensive development in mind.
Our goal is to support parents in accompanying children in the growing process, using individual and holistic approaches, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Positive Discipline. We do not use rewards or punishments – instead, we build children's self-esteem, giving them space for choice, agency and responsibility.
Our Educational Approach
We provide the highest quality education and care in an atmosphere of warmth, joy and respect for others. In our daily communication, we follow the approach of A. Faber and E. Mazlish ("How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk"), making children feel safe, understood and happy.
Our Tasks, Goals, Philosophy
Particularly important to us are social skills, emotional awareness, music and the joy of being outdoors. Regular contact with nature supports physical development, improves coordination and balance, and teaches cooperation, independence and helps reduce stress. Daily interaction with music, in turn, supports the development of hearing, memory, speech and creativity, opening children to the beauty of sounds and enriching their imagination.
We adapt our actions to the individual needs and capabilities of each child, creating a safe space for self-discovery, building relationships and enjoying childhood.
We teach children rules and good manners, and also show them the natural consequences of their choices through clear communication and consistency in action. This way, children learn respect for boundaries – their own and others' – in an atmosphere of safety and trust.
